Social Trends

Each week, we’re committed to sharing our social media recommendations with you. Whether it’s a binge-worthy TV show, something that’ll soundtrack your day, or a page-turner we can’t put down, we’ve got the good stuff to guide you through your week, let us put you on!
TO WATCH: Doctor Who
The latest season of Dr. Who has us glued to our TV screens. Featuring Ncuti Gatawa as the first Black and gay Doctor, this season feels like a homecoming of sorts, returning to the show’s roots with more grotesque aliens and plenty of relevant societal critiques.

TO LISTEN: Rhyme Dust
We just can’t get enough of this Tech House beat by American DJ and record producer MK, and Australian record producer Dom Dolla. Its pounding beats and relentless pace make this the perfect tune for strutting your stuff.

TO EAT: Agora
Small plates, delicious cocktails, and a perfectly homey atmosphere? Sign us up! Agora in Shoreditch is Summer in a bar, with its smoky flatbreads and incredible Greek salatas. Come along for the food and stay for the vibes.
@picantegeorge 📍Agora, London A recent second visit to Agora has confirmed that this is (probably) my favourite restaurant in London at the moment It’s an Athens-inspired souvla bar with an insane amount of great value and delicious skewers and dishes. The atmosphere is always electric and bustling, there’s usually a queue out the front but that’s ok because they bring you homemade crisps and you can order cocktails to the queue (really solid offering btw – frozen margs, lemongrass Paloma and plum and mezcal marg to name a few, and all around £10) There’s one dessert on offer. It’s a tiramisu. Also, inexplicably, there’s a spicy pork sausage, spit roast pineapple and hot honey flatbread which is basically a Hawaiian pizza in sheep’s clothing and it fucking SLAPS. Order it and tell me I’m wrong. 🤝🏽 Save this for your next visit to London #london #londonrestaurants #boroughmarket #londonfood #agora

TO READ: The City and its Uncertain Walls by Haruki Murakami
Known for his powerful take on the magical realism genre, Haruki Murakami’s The City and Its Uncertain Walls is a darkly twisting and emotionally charged tale of young love. When a boy’s girlfriend mysteriously vanishes, he embarks on a lifelong journey trying to reach her again.

TO SMELL: Remarkable People by Etat Libre D’Orange
Looking to stand out from the crowd? Remarkable People is for you. With top notes of champagne accord, grapefruit, and cardamon, this scent by Etat Libre D’Orange is reserved for the unique and bold. Spritz this and be transported to an Italian plaza in the midday sun.
