The Business Development Manager will be responsible for driving new business growth and revenue through the development and implementation of strategic sales plans. This role will involve identifying and prospecting new business opportunities, building and maintaining client relationships, and ensuring high levels of customer satisfaction.
The Business Development Manager will also work closely with our production and creative teams to develop customised solutions for clients. We are seeking an individual who is able to develop strategic proposals for clients in response to inbound briefs and who has a proven track-record in pitching for and winning new business.
RESPONSIBILITIES
- Develop and implement sales strategies to achieve revenue growth targets.
- Conduct research and identify potential clients and new business opportunities.
- Generate new leads and actively seek out new business opportunities through networking and outreach.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with clients and key decision makers.
- Collaborate with our production and creative teams to develop customized solutions and proposals for clients.
- Negotiate contracts and agreements with clients and ensure all terms are met.
- Stay up to date on industry trends and developments and share insights with the team.
EXPERIENCE
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in sales or business development within the marketing industry.
- Strong experience in developing strategic and creative proposals in response to inbound briefs.
- Proven track record of pitching to and winning new business.
- Strong understanding of digital marketing and social media platforms.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Strong negotiation and closing skills.
- Results-driven with a customer-focused approach.
- Ability to prioritize and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office and CRM software.
